Here we go!

Last chance for a quick look back, and then onward we head!
As many of you have heard, Corinne is measuring very, very large, and they have estimated the baby to be between 10 and 11 lbs. Obviously we're aware that these are estimates, and may not be precise, but WOW!
For those that haven't been out to visit us, this is our beautiful blue bedroom. We love it.

And this is our nursery. It's a pale gray with pink and white accents. We spent a long time designing it and finding each piece on craigslist or at the goodwill (then refinishing and adding new knobs etc.). We love to spend time in this room because it is very calming and serene, at least for now!!!

Corinne's done such a great job during pregnancy -- patient, long-suffering, calm. I'm so proud of you babe!

We have discussed at length all the options for delivery, and with the understanding that there is a very good chance that our little girl might top 10 lbs, we have determined to move forward with a Cesarean. Our little one will be born this coming Tuesday, around 10 am eastern! She better be a heavyweight!

Thank you to all for your prayers, support, and advice. We appreciate it.

SNOW DAY!

Underneath the white quilt is our car! So much for going to work.
They haven't even attempted to plow the upper lot.
The building across the street from us...good luck getting into to the shops! The main streets are getting cleaned up now.

Thank goodness for snow. It is one of the few things that gives the NY metro area license to slow down. Wahoo!

I scream for ice creeeaaaaam!

The new red machine! Just waiting to turn it on!
Oooooooh..... Ahhhhhhhhh........
Butter pecan rocks!

Corinne bought this awesome ice cream maker as a Christmas gift for the family (hey, there's almost three of us now!). Without ice or salt, this thing is so easy to use. And the ice cream it makes is incredible. Makes store-bought seem very...well...yucky!

Happy New Year!

My creative gift for the hosts - a Martinelli's bottle with blow-pops all over it and a tinfoil bottom. Not quite ready for mass production, but memorable, I think!
Pregnant and stunning! Corinne got the top hat at a catering gig in New York a few years ago; we bring it out every New Years.

It's 2011 now! We spent our New Year's Eve at a friend's party in Norwalk. We had a grand time. Thanks Francias!

Christmas 2010

It's not Christmas until you've made the trek to the most famous of all Christmas Trees - the tree at Rockefeller Center. This massive Norway Spruce looms over the plaza and makes a terrific backdrop for photo opps!
The Rockette's Christmas Spectacular is a wonderful Christmas treat! This is a photo of the tin soldier section of the show - stinking cool!
Here we are in the lobby of Radio City Music Hall.
I was daring and got Corinne a pair of shoes for Christmas. The choice was based on a careful analysis of her current shoe selection and projected needs!
Corinne surprised me with an amazing LL Bean leather and canvas work bag to replace my beat up old black bag. The bag is well-designed and it was clear that Corinne did some seriously researching to choose this bag! Thanks babe!

Merry Christmas 2010!

At the beach in San Francisco

At the beach in San Francisco
During our Christmas visit to CA, we went to Baker's beach to take some photos and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Welcome...

Yes, yes, we realize we're jumping on a bandwagon....but come on, it's just so much fun! How else can you turn yourself or your family into instant celebrities?! Or make everyone else think you have a perfect life...

Anyway, welcome to our newest addition! It doesn't cry or need attention. And no diaper changing. Whatever we tell it to do, it does (until the computer crashes). And we can sleep in on Saturday.

Well, life is good. We live in Connnecticut. You know, the place about which Glenn Close's character in the Stepford Wives said, "Where in America could a whole town of robots go unnoticed? Connecticut!"

Allan is working as a Landscape Designer and Corinne is working as a Singer/Dancer/Actress! We have the greatest church ward this side of the Mississippi - lots of big active families and our chapel is only 2 miles away. Allan serves as the 11 year old primary teacher and Blazer leader, and Corinne is the YW Personal Progress Leader. There are hundreds of young people in our ward, so it's busy!

Browse our recently added pictures, slideshows, and posts. We'll do our best to keep it updated.

The parade!

The parade!
There is a big balloon parade put on by UBS, and they set everything up just outside our balcony -- cool!
