Utah Trip

We went to Utah the second weekend of October and had a wonderful time. The trip was because Allan was asked by BYU to come teach a two day master class for the Landscape Management majors. He did a wonderful job and it was fun to see all the students so eager to learn about the industry. They were asking questions a mile a minute and really worked hard at the assignments Allan gave them. I tagged along and had a wonderful time too. It was great to see so many friends and family in one trip, get my hair done and get new head shots. The trip was planned down to the minute and was a success.

We went to visit our old apartment #107! Allan with the front door. This apartment was awesome and we miss it very much.

My bike is still on the bike rack! Look at the seat it is so old.

Me and my bike.

Allan and I got some head shots here is Allan getting his they turned out really great. Alicia Packard is the photographer and she did a great job.

Me and Alicia workin' hard.

Mckell and I took my Grandpa Curtis for breakfast at IHOP and had a great time.

I love this witch she was one of my favorites. After breakfast at IHOP Mckell and I went up to Draper got Mckell's hair done and then we met up with some of the family at Gardner village to do a early celebration for my Grandma Smoot's birthday. Allan was teaching this whole day so he could not come along.

We all ate at the restaurant there and enjoyed each others company.

Mckell and Macey.

The three little Goblins. Keaton, Macey and Brianna.

Macey and Brianna-so cute.

He did a wonderful job.

Allan, Paul and I went up to Brigham to go to my uncle's corn maze but we hung out at Grandma's for a bit and Brianna got a princess dress from Mckell and she loved it.

Brianna playing with Mckell.

Brianna doing an arabesque with Becky in the background enjoying the show.

After I chased Brianna and Keaton for about 45 minutes they finally got worn out- so I read them a few books.

Here I am at the corn maze with one of the scary barrels. The corn maze was really fun! It wasn't too easy either. It took us quite a while to figure it out. The spookers did a great job and it was funny that I was related to about half of them. Becky and Mckell stuck together and did a great job. We had a fun time.

Yeah for the corn maze!

Have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

At the beach in San Francisco

During our Christmas visit to CA, we went to Baker's beach to take some photos and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Welcome...

Yes, yes, we realize we're jumping on a bandwagon....but come on, it's just so much fun! How else can you turn yourself or your family into instant celebrities?! Or make everyone else think you have a perfect life...

Anyway, welcome to our newest addition! It doesn't cry or need attention. And no diaper changing. Whatever we tell it to do, it does (until the computer crashes). And we can sleep in on Saturday.

Well, life is good. We live in Connnecticut. You know, the place about which Glenn Close's character in the Stepford Wives said, "Where in America could a whole town of robots go unnoticed? Connecticut!"

Allan is working as a Landscape Designer and Corinne is working as a Singer/Dancer/Actress! We have the greatest church ward this side of the Mississippi - lots of big active families and our chapel is only 2 miles away. Allan serves as the 11 year old primary teacher and Blazer leader, and Corinne is the YW Personal Progress Leader. There are hundreds of young people in our ward, so it's busy!

Browse our recently added pictures, slideshows, and posts. We'll do our best to keep it updated.

There is a big balloon parade put on by UBS, and they set everything up just outside our balcony -- cool!
